Fabric selection is the most important decision in activewear. Here's what we use most — and why.

Polyester / Spandex 80/20

The workhorse. Moisture-wicking, durable, colourfast. Most gym wear and leggings use this blend.

Nylon / Spandex 80/20

Softer hand feel than polyester. Premium leggings and yoga wear. Higher cost per metre.

Recycled Polyester

GRS-certified recycled content available. Suitable for sustainability-positioned brands. Same performance as virgin poly.

Bamboo / Spandex

Natural, soft, breathable. Popular for yoga and studio wear. Not ideal for high-intensity sweat.

Supplex® / Lycra®

Premium branded fabrics available on request. Requires higher MOQ from fabric supplier.

Chlorine-Resistant Nylon

Specifically for swimwear and aquatic activewear. Resists chlorine degradation for 200+ swim hours.

Stretch Mesh

Ventilation panels, linings, and overlay details. Available in power mesh and open-hole mesh.
