We started as a sourcing agent in Zhejiang. Client by client, season by season, we built enough volume and trust to open our own factory. Today we are a full OEM manufacturer — but we still operate with the problem-solving instinct of an agent.
NewWay began as a private-label sourcing agent in Jiaxing, Zhejiang — coordinating between international buyers and local factories, managing tech packs, fabric sourcing, and quality follow-up on behalf of our clients. We didn't manufacture. We solved problems.
Over time, our most consistent clients kept coming back with larger orders and tighter requirements. Rather than outsource production to factories we couldn't fully control, we made the decision to build our own manufacturing facility. We brought our production in-house, hired dedicated QC, sourcing, and technical staff, and expanded into knitwear alongside woven and knit dresses, sportswear, and plus-size clothing.
That agent background still shapes how we work. We understand what buyers need from their factory, because we used to be the one sitting on the buying side of the table. We handle tech packs from scratch. We flag problems before sampling, not after. We give you honest timelines, not optimistic ones.
Today, Zhejiang NewWay Imp. & Exp. Co., Ltd. is a fully integrated OEM garment manufacturer. Our clients are mid-size and emerging international brands — the businesses that need real manufacturing infrastructure without having to be a $50M buyer to access it.
Started in Jiaxing, coordinating production for international apparel brands across Zhejiang factories.
Growing client base and stable relationships enabled investment in our own knitting and sewing facility.
Diversified into four product categories. Built dedicated teams for QC, sourcing, liaison, and technical development.
Third-party social and environmental compliance certifications. Expanded sustainable fabric sourcing from Italy and Taiwan.
100 pcs MOQ, 14-day samples, FOB Ningbo or Shanghai. Serving brands across North America, Europe, and Australia.
Third-party audited for social compliance and recycled content. Certificates available on request.
Mid-size and growing brands are our wheelhouse. You get the same organizational depth as a large manufacturer's client — without needing to be one.
Dedicated quality control inspectors run three in-line checks on every order: incoming materials, mid-production, and pre-pack. Your approved sample is the benchmark — every garment is measured against it.
Our sourcing team has access to Zhejiang's fabric market plus established relationships with premium suppliers in Italy and Taiwan. We find the right material at the right price — and vet it for quality before it enters production.
Your point of contact speaks your language and understands apparel. No mis-translations, no chasing updates. The liaison team bridges your design intent and our factory floor, keeping every production round on track.
Patternmakers and tech developers who can build a spec from scratch or work from your tech pack. For new styles without full documentation, we develop the grade rules, construction notes, and measurement spec — included in the sampling process.
Many of our clients have been working with NewWay for 10–20 years. That kind of retention is built on consistent quality, honest communication, and a team that genuinely understands what it takes to run a fashion brand. We're not a transactional factory. We're your production partner.
China hosts one of the world's largest fabric markets. Our sourcing team can locate most commercially available fabrics domestically — at competitive prices and with shorter lead times than importing.
For clients who require premium or specialty materials — Italian woven fabrics, Taiwanese performance knits, certified sustainable fibres — we source internationally. We've coordinated procurement from suppliers in Italy and Taiwan for clients who need fabrics that aren't available at the quality they need inside China.
If you have an existing supplier relationship, we're happy to work with their materials. If you need us to find and vet the fabric, we handle that as part of the quoting process.
